If you can accurately imitate animal sounds, especially monkeys, this skill could land you a job with the Delhi government. The Delhi Public Works Department (PWD) has issued a unique tender to rid the Delhi Assembly complex of monkey menace.

Monkeys create terror in the assembly premises
According to officials, the number of monkeys in and around the Delhi Assembly has increased significantly. Groups of monkeys often cause problems for legislators, government employees, and visitors. Statues and effigies of langurs were installed in the complex to deter the monkeys, but the monkeys are no longer afraid of them. The situation is such that monkeys are often seen sitting on top of these statues.
Langur expert will be deployed
As a scientific solution to this problem, the Public Works Department (PWD) has decided to hire personnel to scare away monkeys by imitating the sound of a langur. Monkeys are afraid of langurs and leave the area upon hearing their sound. The deployed personnel can also bring a trained langur with them if needed to effectively scare away the monkeys.
Job Conditions and Shifts
According to the report, the people selected for this job will be deployed in a professional manner:
- Duty Timings: These employees will have to work 8 hours shift daily from Monday to Saturday.
- Insurance Cover: Considering the risk, the government will also provide insurance coverage to these employees.
