Canada Police released pictures of Punjabi gangsters, warning people to stay away

Canadian police have issued a warning about 11 people involved in extreme levels of gang violence. Police have asked the public to stay away from them. Out of these 11 people, 9 are of Punjabi origin. British Columbia police said they were linked to several murders and shootings in the province. Manny Mann, assistant commander of the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit, said there was a high probability that a rival gangster would target them for violence.

The poster released by the police includes the names of Shakeel Basra (28), Amarpreet Samra (28), Jagdeep Cheema (30), Ravinder Sharma, (35), Barinder Dhaliwal (39), Anti St. Pierre (40), Gurpreet Dhaliwal (35), Richard Joseph Whitlock (40), Samaroop Gill (29), Supadish Gill (28) and Sukhdeep Pansal (33). Media reports from Canada said such warnings to stay away from specific alleged criminals had never been heard before, but had increased in recent years.
