News has emerged of the tragic deaths of two young men from two villages in Punjab who had gone to Edmonton, Canada, in search of higher education and a brighter future. This tragic incident has sent shockwaves through their native villages of Budhlada and Boha.

Events: Shooting and shock

According to reports, the deceased youths have been identified as Gurdeep Singh (27) of Barhe village in Budhlada, and his friend Ranveer Singh (18) of Udat Sedewala village. The incident occurred while the two friends were on their way to a birthday party with some friends. Ranveer Singh was suddenly attacked and shot by unknown individuals, killing him on the spot.

Death due to fear

Seeing the horrific scene of Ranveer Singh being shot, Gurdeep Singh (27), who was driving the car, went into a state of panic and shock and fell unconscious. Gurdeep Singh later died of the shock.
