On 1st October 2014, All India Pingalwara Charitable Society (Regd.) Amritsar released Trailer of the upcoming movie “Eh JanamTumhareLekhe” on the life of founder of Pingalwara: Bhagat Puran Singh Ji which was removed by the team after some time on their Facebook Page(https://www.facebook.com/pingalwara3). Pawan Malhotra is playing role of Bhagat Puran Singh Ji with great energy. It is observed from the trailer of the movie that it will be a revolutionary documentary which will change the minds of masses and encourage all to take care the sick and disabled people.
Writer, environmentalist, philanthropist, Bhagat Puran Singh is the founder of Pingalwara, a home for sick, disabled and deserted forlorn people. Post his death, All India Pingalwara Charitable Society approached Dr. Harjit Singh for making documentary on him. Dr. Harjit Singh said, “Puran Singh’s life is so fascinating that I always thought that a documentary is not enough for it”.
