Punjab Congress has suspended Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife Navjot Kaur from the party over her 500 crore remark. Following the suspension, Dr. Navjot Kaur posted a post on social media, in which she cited a statement by Raja Warring. She wrote that she refuses to stand with an insensitive, irresponsible, morally dishonest, and corrupt president. She stands with all her brothers and sisters who have been hurt by his failure and irresponsible behavior. She refuses to accept him as president. Finally, she wrote that she cannot understand why the Chief Minister is protecting him.
This action by the Congress party has sparked a lot of debate in Punjab. Raja Warring posted a social media post earlier today, announcing the suspension of Navjot Kaur Sidhu from her primary membership. No reason was given for this suspension.
