In the national capital of Delhi, two major colleges of Delhi University (Delhi University – DU), Ramjas College (Ramjas College) and Deshbandhu College (Deshbandhu College) received a commotion after receiving a bomb threatening email. As soon as the information was received, the Delhi Police took quick action and as a precaution both the college premises were evacuated.

The police immediately started a search operation
As soon as they received information about the threat from the email, the police immediately went into alert mode. Delhi Police immediately sent bomb squad (Bomb Squad) and dog squad (Dog Squad) to the premises of both colleges. Due to security reasons, the entire building of both the colleges was evacuated to avoid any untoward incident. Students and staff were sent to safe places. Police and security agencies searched every corner of the building and conducted an intensive search operation.
No suspicious items were found
The status so far during the investigation operation is as follows: Despite intensive search operations, the police have not found any suspicious items or explosives. The police are now investigating to identify the source of this threatening email and the person or group behind it. Legal action can be taken against such fake callers.
Panic among students and families
This incident created an atmosphere of panic among the students of both the colleges and their families. However, the quick and successful action of the police ensured that the situation was under control and there was no danger.
