Delhi Pollution Alert: 80% people want to leave Delhi-NCR, shocking revelation in survey

Rising air pollution in Delhi-NCR has begun to seriously impact people’s health and lifestyle. A recent Smytten PulseAI survey revealed that more than 80 percent of the area’s residents are experiencing persistent coughs, fatigue, and shortness of breath, leading people to leave Delhi.

68% had to seek medical help

According to the survey, 68.3 percent of people had to visit a doctor for treatment of pollution-related illnesses in the past year. Experts say this figure shows that air pollution in the capital is no longer just a weather issue, but has become a serious health crisis.

76% of people reduced outdoor activities

Polluted air is confining people to their homes. A survey revealed that 76.4 percent of people have significantly reduced their daily outdoor activities. Many families said even sending their children to school has become unnerving. Persistent smog and foul-smelling air are forcing people to stay indoors.

80% people plan to leave NCR

The survey’s most surprising finding was that 79.8 percent of residents have either left NCR or are planning to leave. 
Of these, 33.6% are seriously considering leaving.
31% are actively considering it.
15.2% of residents have already relocated to other cities.
Many families have also begun searching for housing and schools for their children in new cities.
