According to information, a sensation spread in Canada’s Abbotsford when a prominent Punjabi businessman was shot dead today by unknown assailants. The deceased has been identified as Darshan Singh Darshan (age 68) originally from Doraha (Rajgarh Village) District Ludhiana.
According to sources, the incident took place around 9:22 am on Blue Ridge Drive in the Townline area of Abbotsford, where unknown persons shot dead a hardworking Punjabi businessman, Darshan Singh Darshan, outside his house. The deceased, Darshan Saadhar, ran a large clothing recycling business in Maple Ridge. He was the chairman of ‘Kenum International’, which is considered one of the largest textile recycling companies in the world. This incident caused a sensation in the area. Police are investigating the case. After the incident, police imposed tight security in the area and nearby schools were temporarily closed as a precaution.
