Bollywood actor Sonu Sood on Sunday met a little boy suffering from kidney disease in Punjab and said that he will do everything possible to help him recover. He shared pictures from the hospital on X, in which he is seen meeting the child and his family. Sood wrote in the caption – “Met little Avijot in Punjab today, a brave soul who has a big battle ahead. We will do everything possible to help him recover. Wishing this little angel strength and speedy recovery. He is not alone”.
Sood informed that he has spoken to the child’s family and ensured that the floods “do not hamper his treatment.” “I have spoken to the family, and we are committed to ensuring that the floods do not hamper his treatment,” he wrote on Twitter. The Fateh actor arrived in Punjab on Sunday to support relief operations for flood-affected communities in Punjab. Today, on his Instagram handle, he also posted pictures of his visit to the flood-affected areas with a caption, “With Punjab, forever. We were on the ground. We saw the damage, the heartbreak – and the strength that did not fade. Villages are submerged, lives are destroyed, but hope still remains. Whatever Punjab needs, we are here. To help. To rebuild.
