Former Punjab minister and MLA Anmol Gagan Mann has been removed from the Question and Reference Committee of the Assembly for the year 2025-26. In his place, Rajpura MLA Neena Mittal has been nominated as a member of the committee for the remaining period.
In the order issued by the Assembly, it has been said that this action has been taken by the Speaker under Rule 183 of the Punjab Assembly. It is worth noting that on July 19, Anmol Gagan Mann suddenly resigned by posting a post. The next day party president Aman Arora reached his house. After this, he persuaded Anmol Gagan Mann and then Anmol Gagan Mann withdrew his resignation. At the same time, after the death of Tarn Taran MLA Dr. Kashmir Singh Sohal, Ajnala MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal has been nominated to the vacant post.
