The plane crash in Ahmedabad has become one of the worst air accidents in the country, in which 275 people lost their lives. The dead included passengers of the plane and students and doctors present in the medical college building. And amidst all this, the last recorded voice of the plane’s pilot – Sumit Sabharwal , the pilot of the plane – was nothing but fear, helplessness and a helpless warning – “Mede…mede…thrust nahi mila raha, power kam ho rahi hai…plane nahi ut raha…nahi bachenge.”
Pilot’s Last Call: ‘Hum Nahi Bachenge’
As the investigation of the accident is progressing, many important details are coming to the fore. The last message sent by pilot Sumit Sabharwal to Air Traffic Control has come to light. In this message of only 4-5 seconds, the pilot said that the plane was not getting power, and he warned, “Plane Ut Nahi Raha… Nahi Bachenge.” This message proved that the accident was due to some technical glitch, which ended everything in an instant.
