A horrific plane crash occurred in Ahmedabad city of Gujarat on Thursday, June 12, 2025, which shook the entire area. The accident took place in the afternoon in Meghaninagar area near Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. A video of the incident also surfaced in which it can be seen that the Air India plane suddenly burst into flames.

According to eyewitnesses, as soon as the plane fell, there was a loud explosion and thick black smoke covered the sky. High flames of fire were seen all around, causing panic in the entire area.
There are expected to be 242 passengers on board the plane
According to preliminary information, the crashed plane was a passenger plane with about 242 people on board. This plane belongs to Air India. Pictures from the scene show pieces of the plane’s debris and a wing lying separated on the ground.
Relief and rescue work continues at a fast pace
As soon as the news of the accident was received, the fire brigade, police and disaster relief teams reached the spot. Several fire engines are engaged in extinguishing the fire and the administration says that the fire has been partially controlled. Medical teams have also been deployed on the spot to treat the injured.
