Air India’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner plane has crashed in Ahmedabad. It is being told that 242 passengers including former Gujarat CM and Punjab BJP in-charge Chief Minister Vijay Rupani were on board this plane. Let us tell you that the Air India plane took off from the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad at 1.38 pm and crashed at 1.40 pm. As soon as the plane fell, a plume of smoke was seen in the entire area.

Vijay Rupani’s close friend Nitin Bharadwaj said that Rupani was going to meet his daughter in London by changing in this flight and his seat number was 12. After this accident, the news has come out that the flight operation at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport has been stopped for now. The spokesperson of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport has informed about this.  

It is being told that there were 217 adults, 11 children, 2 infants, 169 Indian, 53 British, 1 Canadian, 7 Portuguese passengers in this plane. Immediately after the accident, 7 fire engines reached the spot and efforts are on to control the fire. Teams of BSF and NDRF have also joined the relief and rescue operations. At present, the exact cause of the accident has not been revealed.
