Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today once again attacked the corrupt and warned them to give up bribery or the government will not spare anyone. He said that corruption is like cancer which the government is treating but the government needs the support of the people.

The Chief Minister was expressing his views after inaugurating the tehsil complex built at Dudhansadha in Sanaur Assembly constituency of District Patiala at a cost of Rs 8.55 crore. The Chief Minister said that while the government has improved the economic condition, it has also improved the condition of government schools and hospitals. Now registries and Intakal in Tehsils will be under one roof. The Chief Minister said that the online registration system will be started in all districts by June 20. Now people will be able to write their registry by paying a fee of 500 rupees at the service centers in the tehsil. The registry can be written in any language.
The Chief Minister said that the money earned through corruption does not last. Now someone gets plastered, someone gets admitted to the hospital and someone goes to jail. He said that people are fulfilling the responsibility given to them sincerely. He said that neither the Badal family nor the Captain family lived in the Chief Minister’s residence in Chandigarh. Captain used to live in Siswan farm house but now he is c. M. They live in the house and also hold meetings.
