A powerful bomb exploded near a fertility clinic in the US state of California, which spread panic in the area. In this tragic incident, one person lost his life while four others are said to be injured. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has declared the blast as a ‘terrorist act’ and launched a thorough investigation.
A huge explosion happened near the car
According to information, this incident took place on Saturday around 11 am. A car was parked outside the American Reproductive Center in or near which the massive explosion occurred. The blast was so powerful that the entire car was blown away and unfortunately one person died on the spot. The injured were immediately admitted to nearby hospitals.
Strong statement from the FBI
Assistant Director of the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office, Aquile Davis, has clearly described the incident as an ‘act of terrorism’. He said that the FBI team is investigating the matter seriously to find out whether it is international level terrorism or domestic terrorism. However, considering the sensitivity of the investigation, he has refused to share any more detailed information at the moment.
Nearby buildings were also damaged
According to the police, the intensity of the explosion was so high that many nearby buildings were also damaged. The American Reproductive Center, which has three branches across the United States, caused chaos in the area due to this attack.
