On the eve of Independence Day soon to be released Bollywood film SINGHAM is facing controversy from the right wing hindu nationalist groups. The radical Hindu organizations has claimed that the word saint in context of Hinduism has been negatively portrayed in the film and hurt the religious sentiments of the Hindu community as it shown as a villain in this film quoted by secretary of Hindu public awareness committe Mr Ramesh shinday .
He further stated that the lead actor of the film ajay devgun who will be seen as play role of a cop is on the on side threatening the saint villain in this film and on the other hand he can be seen in the mosque bowing his head and saluting a Muslim clergy which is against Hindu believe and customs. So he has demanded to edit that scene from the movie before it is released for the public.
