3 new Sidhu Moosewala songs released on his birth anniversary

Five hours after BBC World Service aired two episodes of the documentary “The Killing Call” on slain Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala, three new songs were released on Wednesday on his official YouTube channel.

June 11 marks the birth anniversary of Moosewala, who was tragically murdered on May 29, 2022, at Jawaharke village in Mansa district.

The newly released tracks — “0008”, “Neal”, and “Take Notes” — are part of the “Moose Print” extended play (EP). This brings the total number of songs released after Moosewala’s death to 11.

Earlier this week, Moosewala’s father, Balkaur Singh, had announced that three new songs would drop on June 11.

All three songs crossed the one million view mark each within about an hour of their launch, reflecting Moosewala’s enduring influence in the Punjabi music industry. Some of his most popular tracks include “So High”, “295”, and “Same Beef.”
