Master Shravan Singh, a 10-year-old boy from Chak Taran Wali, a border village in Ferozepur district, was awarded the Prime Minister’s National Child Award by the President of India, Draupadi Murmu, at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi today, December 26, 2025. Shravan Singh was given this award for his exceptional courage, wisdom and selfless service during Operation Sindoor in May 2025.

Amid a tense situation along the India-Pakistan border, Shravan Singh provided vital support to the deployed forces. Amidst constant infiltration by enemy drones and a tense atmosphere, Shravan, filled with patriotic zeal, visited the police post daily, delivering essential supplies like water, milk, lassi, tea, and ice to the forces.
Despite the constant threat of enemy attack, his determination served as a vital lifeline and boosted the morale of long-deployed soldiers. For this, Shravan Singh has already been honored by the Army and is also training him. Now, today, the President has honored Shravan Singh with the Prime Minister’s National Child Award.
