On the discussion of Railway budget., Mr Bhagwant maan, member of parliament, asked tauntingly
that the central govt. which gives pleasant dreams of bullet trains,. what problem they have in setting up a railway line of just 20 km from rajpura to sneta..just because of this track the people of malwa region.. like bhatinda,barnala,nabha,patiala and dhuri..will get benefits up to 50 percent in their fares.
s. maan putting blame on badal family that badal sarkar dont want to complete this bcoz on this bus track, buses owning badal also runs.. maan also appealed to double the railway track from rajpura to bhatinda, as this way holds in between three thermal plants.namingly muhabbat,bhatinda and bananwali.. just bcoz of single track, passenger trains has to wait on the station for hours so as to give way to the ongoing train… thus passengers are helpless to face problems. Mr. maan asked central govt. who kept on promising for bullet trains that why can’t they raise the maximum speed of the shatabdi from 90 to 100..which covers the region Delhi via sangrur.. and this shatabdi has just the avg max speed of this shatabdi.
