He was extremely happy with the huge success of his Punjabi Debut Films, Punjab 1984 and Eh Janam Tumhare Lekhe and shared his desire to work a lot more in Punjabi Films.
During PTC Punjabi Film awards last year , Pawan Malhotra said that an award is a big honour and is extremely necessary for every artist. He believes that all Punjabis have an extremely generous heart and he is proud to be a Punjabi.
