International Conference Organized by Cosmic Journals in association with Green ThinkerZ Society in Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The GreenThinkerZ Society organized the International Conference on Interdisciplinary Research and Technological Developments (IRTD 2014) in association with Cosmic Journals at Panjab University, Chandigarh on 1st November 2014.The conference was very successful in terms of creating a much needed platform for novice researchers to learn from the adroit.
As many as 80 researchers participated in the event. Young researchers from various states of India presented their research work in the firm of oral as well as poster presentations.Researchers from China and Denmark also participated in the conference and showcased their research work in their respective domains.
Dr A K Saihjpal, Advisor- distance learning, PTU graced the conference as a chief guest.He shared his wisdom and vast research and academic experience with the young researchers.He instrumentally explained that how researchers can contribute in eradicating corruption from India through various technological inventions and innovations.
The conference was convened and organized by members of GreenThinkerZ Society and technically sponsored by Cosmic Journals as all the accepted papers have been published in the journal of its respective domain.
Keynote speakers and session chairs from various institutions / universities helped the researchers by guiding them in their research fields through their visionary ideas and critical comments.

The conference observed participation in the interdisciplinary domains of Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Education & Applied Research, Mechanical Engineering and Management & Business Studies.
Dr.SushantaTripathy of KIIT University, Orissa was awarded for his outstanding contribution in the field of research in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
Participants received awards for their outstanding research work and presentations.The conference committee announced the continuity of the series in the following year with a two day event including a workshop on Research Methodology. The organizers also declared the next conference by the same organizing team in Bangkok, Thailand in January 2015.
