Ambala 3 Jan 2015 : Punjabi Comedian,Actor and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and member of parliament Bhagwant Mann has been supporting Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa on various platforms including Parliament of India and Social media, but has visited Bhai Sahib for the first time.
Bhagwant Mann arrived on 2 Jan 2015 at Gurdwara Lakhnaur Sahib where the strike is being observed to meet Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa. Mann said he wanted Bhai Khalsa to launch the struggle in Punjab and he promised to help him by ever possible means. He said every peace loving person should back Bhai Khalsa as his struggle is against the violation of human rights.
Sikh preacher Sarbjit Singh Dhunda and Takht Sri Damdama Sahib fomer Jathedar Giani Kewal Singh met Bhai Khalsa and appealed to the people to support him. Large numbers of Sikhs led by Jathedar Mehal Singh from Daba (Ludhiana) visited there to show solidarity with Bhai Khalsa.
