Moving away from the Punjab of yellow mustard fields, Annu Bains decided to make her film during the stark, cold foggy winter season. Punjab is beautiful in winters says Annu the fog and the mist and the bare poplar trees create a stunning landscape and I wanted that captured on celluloid.

The story and screenplay is by Uday Pratap Singh. While the cinematography is by Apal Singh who is one of the top documentary maker in the country.
The film has an ensemble cast of some new and some old seasoned actors. Like Preet Bhullar as Arjun,  Kul Sidhu as Kismat,  Dheeraj Kumar as Heera,  Jagjeet Sandhu as Speed and Harshjot Kaur as Sukhjeet.

These actors have breathed life into their roles and have lived their characters says Jatinder Mauhar. Coming from theatre backgrounds.  acting comes easily and naturally to them. Uday says why can’t this be our USP? After all it’s all about talent and not just a face. The artists have done justice to the script and have a long way to go.

The film is not preachy and does not shout out messages from roof tops. It’s up to the audience to take home lessons from it or not take any. A commercial entertaining film, it dwells on the socio economic conditions in Punjab and its youth. It touchs upon sensitive issues of drug abuse, alcoholism and the quest of the Punjabi youth to go abroad, among other issues.

The music of the film is by Gurmoh. The tracks feature the voices of Gurdas Maan and Nooran Sisters. A film made with honestly of intent and passion for cinema, it releases on 16th October 2015 in India and overseas.
