Punjab singer/actor Diljit Dosanjh has reportedly started an ‘Entertainment Company’. D6 is founded by Diljit Dosanjh and Co Founded by Mannie Sadhra (Kalikwest).
Kalikwest reprotedly told ;Punjabi Cinema’ that D6 Entertainment is a full-service entertainment company, inclusive of artist management, music publishing, touring, merchandising, film, television and a music label. Tris Dhaliwal & Aman Yaar are the first two artists signed with D6.
“Introducing the Beginning of something I have been working on for awhile @weared6 just signed @trisdhaliwal @amanyaar to our #weared6 family with my bro @kalikwest”, Diljit Dosanjh posted on his Instagram about his company.
Punjabi singer turned actor has a huge fan following, especially among youngsters but many of his songs triggered massive opposition from various circles of Punjabi society. He had to offer apology after his song ‘15 Saal ton ghat’ faced massive condemnation for being abusive to women of tender age. Istari Jagriti Manjh, a social group of women, staged protests outside his residence where his family members had to tender apology in public for Diljit Dosanjh’s vulgar songs.
Diljit Dosanjh’s recent song ‘Patiala Peg’ faced strong condemnation and criticism from various groups over social media networks, particularly the Facebook.
