The Intelligence Bureau has warned the Home Ministry about a new release movies based on the Indira’s assassins, who revenged the attack on Sikh Holy Shrine Harmandar sahib, as it could create a tension between Sikh and Hindu community. IB has submitted a report to Home Minister Rajnath Singh stating that the movies is scheduled to release on 22August after passing Censor board, no doubt the movie was cut short.
The movie focuses on the lives of the two assassins of Indira Gandhi who were also her personal bodyguards, Beant Singh and Satwant Singh. The IB is said to have warned that certain Hindu organizations have already started protesting over the contents of the movie which could lead to tensions. The Home Ministry is planning to send advisories to Punjab, Haryana and Delhi governments to ensure that there’s no trouble upon the movie’s release.
